Comedy Genre
There are many different part of the Comedy genre, such as; Black comedy/dark comedy, Blue comedy, character comedy and lots more. In the comedy they either use a already created film and create something called a spoof which is where they mock the film in a respectful way, but also creates a laughable experience for the audience. There is also comedy where they will create a brand new type of film and create laughs in what ever way they can. In most comedy films they use a lot of bright colours to make the general mood happier so that people will laugh more showing they are enjoying what they are seeing.
Horror is one of the easiest genres to be able to spot right away in a film. All of the trailers and the adverts and such will all be dark and scary and this create the effect of people being able to see what genre it is. Horror can be created by the use of lots of shadows, blood and tension building music to create drama and suspense for the audience.
Action Genre
Action films fall into different categories like action comedy, action thriller and others. They include a lot of high tempo editing and on most films it either follows 2 or 3 peoples stories/paths in the film with the use of parallel editing or they just stick to the one persons story so it is easy for the audience to follow the story. It normally puts the hero in a outnumbered situation and he normally comes out on top.
Animated Genre
These types of films can only normally be created by conglomerate film companies due to the massive budget they can give these films so they can have a high quality film. They normally are in the comedy genre because it is easier to target a film to a younger audience cause of it being all done with computers.
